I bet you want to know more about this site, right?
Well, right now this site is run and maintained by a single person. I currently have three motorcycles of my own, and at last count, ten sets of riding gear for my wife and I. Sheesh, you’d think we want to be safe. 😉
Been riding for over 20 years and the stable currently holds a Vespa GTS 300ie, a KTM 690 Enduro R and a Yamaha Super Tenere. Used to have an FJR1300 prior to the Tenere.
I do very much enjoy just plain riding around town and commuting, but also longer rides. Like the 8 days and 3100 miles I completed last summer on the Super Tenere from Seattle to San Diego and back. Down the East sides of Washington, Oregon and California and back up the West sides. Great ride!
Otherwise I enjoy reading, wrenching and learning about motorcycles. That’s why this website exists. For me to catalogue and share what I hope is useful information related to the topic. And the domain is no accident. I fully intend to have a focus on gear and safety. Not the preachy version, though. Ride your own ride. More like insights to help decision making.
You’ll notice we’re ad free at the moment. My goal is to keep that going as long as is practical. I used to work for a search engine, written two books about online marketing and spent 20 years building and marketing websites online, so I’m well versed in making money online. Currently I run a digital marketing company in Simi Valley CA, and live in Camarillo. This places me smack dab in the middle of some of the best riding to be had…on the planet.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go get more content written for this joint …or go for a ride… 🙂
